Bail Bond Fees

Fees on bail bonds are set by Mississippi state law and all bondsmen are required to abide by this set price. We are equipped with wireless credit card terminals to accept most credit cards and debit cards. All Mississippi residents are to be charged ten percent (10%) of the bond amount or one hundred dollars ($100.00), whichever is greater, plus a processing fee of fifty dollars ($50.00). Non residents and any one charged with a capital offense are to be charged fifteen percent (15%) or one hundred dollars ($100.00), whichever is greater, plus the fifty dollar ($50.00) processing fee. This applies to appearance bonds as well as appeal bonds which may be posted following a conviction by the court. Additionally, some jails charge a "turn key" fee of twenty five dollars ($25.00).
